CHERRY LANE ALTERNATIVE
Founding Artistic Director Angelina Fiordellisi built something rare during her tenure: an organization with the instinct to find the right playwright at the right moment.
Through the Discovery Series, the Founder’s Project, and the Tongues Reading Series, she created a pipeline from the page to the stage — bringing the work of Horton Foote, Charles Mee, Matt Williams, Lisa Ramirez, Katori Hall, Rajiv Joseph, Daisy Foote, Anton Dudley, Irene O’Garden, and Bridgette Wimberly to New York audiences, alongside readings by writers ranging from F. Murray Abraham to Jesse Eisenberg.
Their works represent a rich contribution to American theatre. Explore our production history below!
