Esai’s Table
Esai’s Table is an Afrosurreal myth about three young Black men trapped in an ominous basement with a mercurial figure named Esai. As a storm gathers and the room begins to flood, an ancient wooden table awakens, transforming the space into a cosmic vessel. Swept into a mythic night-sea journey across impossible skies and violent waters, the young men must confront memory, friendship, and the unseen forces that shape their lives in a haunting exploration of Black humanity, imagination, and transcendence.
